COA Corridor Mobility

Corridor Mobility Program

Austin, Texas

This project is part of the $720 Million Mobility Bond Corridor Program that was approved by Austin voters in November of 2016. The Corridor Mobility Program consists of several primary roadways that have been identified for improvements to enhance mobility, safety, and connectivity for all users. This project consists of developing a sustainable implementation model that will be utilized to prioritize improvements for specific segments within each corridor.

GarzaEMC assisted in preparing roll plots of the proposed improvements based on typical sections, cost estimating for the improvements, and utility conflicts/relocations. The Garza team also led the storm sewer planning phase which consisted of sizing and costing of the proposed storm sewer systems for all corridors, and led efforts in identifying water quality requirements that would be necessary to meet the City’s guidelines.
