Track & Field Relocation

The track and field relocation project was the second phase of the Texas State University Bobcat Stadium Expansion project located on a +/- 4-acre site. The project scope consisted of an NCAA compliant, 400-meter, eight-lane track and NCAA compliant field including shot put, hammer/discus, javelin, long/triple jump, pole vault, and high jump as well as grandstands, a press box, ticket booth and concession stand, restrooms, and a storage building. The facility includes seating for 1,000, but can accommodate significantly more for meets and other special events. GarzaEMC provided civil engineering services including the site layout, grading, and utility design as well as ADA and TAS compliance and preparation of the SWPPP for TCEQ compliance.
