Menchaca Elementary School

The Menchaca Elementary School project was the first project to be permitted under Austin Independent School District’s 2017 Bond Program. The project has a total estimated construction cost of $23.8 Million and has targeted a LEED Silver certification. The new school is comprised of three buildings totaling 99,000 GSF with a capacity to accommodate 870 students. The buildings are connected by wide outdoor walkways shaded by canopies, green spaces and shaded playgrounds to promote an outdoor learning environment.

GarzaEMC is providing full civil engineering services, including site design, grading and drainage, utility infrastructure, as well as permitting and construction administration services.
