Casis Elementary School

Austin, Texas

The Casis Elementary School project is a part of the Austin Independent School District’s 2017 Bond Program. The project has a total estimated construction cost of $35.2-million and is pursuing Austin Energy Green Building (AEGB) 3-star certification to promote sustainability and innovation. The new school totals 95,000 GSF on 14 acres of land with a capacity to accommodate 870 students. The new campus consists of a two-story academic and administrative building, single-story gymnasium, cafeteria facility, parking lot and parent/bus drop-off circulation drives, and a shaded promenade with outdoor learning spaces and classrooms.
