Turtle Creek No.3 Pump Station

San Antonio, Texas

The purpose of the Turtle Creek No. 3 Pump Station Project was to upgrade the existing facility to a 20 MGD primary pump station, providing a reliable source of water to serve the Medical Center area. The project included adding two new wells and rehabilitation of the existing well to achieve a projected combined 20 MGD facility capacity, two new 5-million-gallon ground storage tanks, a new high service pump station, and approximately 1.5 miles of 48-inch transmission main.

GarzaEMC was responsible for developing alternatives for the site layout, preparing a site grading plan to identify conflicts, reviewing drainage H&H calculations for potential site detention, and conducting a 48-inch water transmission main route study to develop alternatives for the PER phase of this project.
