Cirrus Logic Research Facility

Located in downtown Austin, Texas, this 24,000 GSF Research Facility provides support to the Cirrus Logic downtown headquarters building that sits a few blocks away. This project participated in the City of Austin Great Streets program and the Austin Energy Green Building program.

GarzaEMC provided full civil engineering, design and construction services including the site layout, grading, and utility design and permitting through the City of Austin as well as coordination of the license agreement for the right-of-way and street scape improvements. The City of Austin permitting process also required a flood study be performed for Shoal Creek adjacent to the site, a floodplain variance for construction in the floodplain, and a Planning Commission variance for use of the street for trash and loading maneuvering.
