PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

The University of Texas Dell Medical School is a world class, cutting edge Medical Education, care and Research facility located at the University of Texas Austin campus. The Dell Medical School is comprised of three (3) distinct, but collaborative buildings with a total of 588,901 building s.f. at a construction cost of $284 million.

  • Health Discovery Building: $173,550,000; 264,428 GSF
  • Health Transformation Building: $58,500,000; 239,473 GSF
  • Health Learning Building: $51,500,000; 85,000 GSF

Additionally, the campus included an outdoor courtyard and amenities to foster a  comfortable and enjoyable learning environment.

Garza EMC provided site civil engineering services for the project. The site civil engineering services included site planning, grading, drainage, utility improvements, and significant coordination with multiple City departments, including working on the right-of-way vacation and license agreements.
