PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

The Research & Commercialization project is a research/science park which includes a facility for research in multifunctional materials and nurtures and captures the resulting emerging technological markets that will be created from this technology. The 37 acre site is located at McCarty Lane & Hunter Road. The initial building is a 20,000 gross square foot facility, with planned expansion to 36,000 square feet, to function in part as the Center for Research Commercialization.

Key design elements included drainage and utility master planning for the entire site and the extension of onsite and offsite water and wastewater infrastructure to serve the property. Garza EMC provided full civil engineering and consulting services for the project including site planning, grading and drainage, and utility design and permitting.
